Gnomesville grew due to some magical attraction of the Roundabout. It was not planned. As it has grown, it has overtaken the road verge up to the fenced farmland and spread along it. Coping with an unplanned facility has created some problems.

Parking is difficult for not only cars but also buses and caravans.

Public conveniences such as toilets (“dunnies,” if you speak Strine) are pointed to but are in fact 2km away and not really convenient for walking to on the side of a narrow road.

The shire is well aware of the problems and actively seeking solutions.

There have been some minor earthworks involving paths, a few picnic seats, and rails. Many hours have been given by many volunteers.

There is an information board.
